I was so honored to get to shoot this special couple on their wedding day. I had basically said, nope, weddings are not for me! But I had so much fun at their engagement shoot that I found myself saying "yes" when they asked if I would photograph their wedding. I have always loved weddings and wedding planning. I am a detail girl, and when heart and soul are put into every piece of the big day, as was the case for this beautiful rustic winter wedding, well, I am sold! I am also a big mushball when in the presence of a God written love story, so I was overjoyed to get to capture all of the emotion of the day with my lens.
From the low lit intimate ceremony, to the joyful dancing at the Springfield Country Club, the day was full of love and fun and family. This wedding was pretty special, and full of intimate, heartfelt details (like a journaling Bible as a guestbook - genius!). Inspired by nature with tree stumps and pine, the evening sparkled with perfect touches of gold. But nothing could outshine the sparkle of the bride and groom, they just light up around each other. Weddings are all about connection and relationships, and that is my specialty, so maybe weddings and I will be a good fit after all! I had so much fun shooting this one!
